LAMIRSA develops specific additives for pulp and paper production, with a focus on reducing environmental impact and complying with relevant regulations (FDA and BfR).
DEFOAMERS – CONTRAPEN®
The CONTRAPEN® line includes defoamers and defoamers based on fatty alcohols, surfactants, fatty esters, inorganic compounds and silicone.
These products are used in paper machines, wood-derived sauces, size-press, and in chemical and semi-chemical hardwood, softwood and non-wood fiber processes.
BIOCIDES – AQUAMIR® and MIRECIDE®.
AQUAMIR® is a chlorine stabilizer for industrial water treatment.
MIRECIDE® prevents the growth of microorganisms in paper and cardboard machines, protecting coating sauces and starches.
The range includes biocides based on Bromine salts, Bronopol, DBNPA and CMI/MI.
POLYMERS – DISPERSENE , FLOCUSOL®, FLOCUDEX® and INCUS®.
LAMIRSA’s range includes DISPERSENE dispersants, used to improve quality in paper manufacturing, avoiding problems such as pitch formation and reducing electrostatic charges.
FLOCUSOL® and FLOCUDEX ® flocculants, composed of high molecular weight anionic and cationic polyacrylamide, are key in fiber recovery and water treatment.
In addition, INCUS® antiscalants, with acrylic, phosphonic and maleic acid terpolymer derivatives, are essential to prevent scaling in the Kraft pulp production process.
